The darkness didn't last long. When the lights returned everything seemed normal, except that the large clock had stopped moments before it stroked twelve. At least until a few unsettling screams broke the silence. Confused, Sid looked around the room until he saw a few patrons point towards the ceiling. Evening had already fallen as Sid arrived at the giant doors that served as the entrance. The doors were already open and several members from all three groups were pouring into the ballroom. Sid quickly merged into the mass as it slowly advanced forward. The women wore various dresses in a variety of colors, while the men simply wore tuxedos with only a few breaking the uniform color of black and gray. He himself had an old suit that his mother had given him. The suit was tall but not wide and had easily fit Sid's body type. He had suspected it was one of his old man's old suit but he doubted his mother would admit it.

A steadily fading stream of light poured though a two-story window as the sun set far in the west. A small living ball of fur that went by the name Duremon sat on a bed witnessing the beautiful sight. Unfortunately, his partner Sid was less relaxed as he was frantically searching the room for a small piece of metal that matched a similar item that secured that was secured on the cuff of his left sleeve.
"Come on, come on! Where is IT?"
The young digimon looked upon the pathetic sight and sighed. "I really don't see the big deal about this."
